Read. Play. Atelier. supports children from preschool through middle school. The stages span roughly ages 3 through 14. Stages are based on reading skill, not grade level. Children are placed where they actually are.

Four stages. Pre-Reader, for children building their first sound and letter awareness. Beginning and Emerging Reader, for children cracking the code. The Reading World Map is the storyworld behind the phonics and decoding curriculum. Each region on the map is a phonics concept. Children move through the regions as they learn each concept.
